FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (WUSA) -- Prince George's County Police say a man who was found in a well last week died of a gunshot wound.

The body of Lenny Harris was extracted from a 20-foot well this past weekend. His death is considered a homicide.

After nearly 8 hours of
...more digging, investigators removed the body from a 20 foot deep well.  A tipster brought investigators to the 11900 block of Old Fort Road near Flagship Avenue in Fort Washington on Thursday.

The well can be found along a windy, dirt path on vacant property far from the main road.

Raquel Newton lives nearby, "You just driver up and down the road and you don't even know what's back there. In order for him to be back there someone had to know that well is there."

The discovery of the body has shaken residents such as Kevin Gormes.

Gormes said, "It's scary you know, 'cause we live in a nice neighborhood."

Digging that far down on a crime scene is a

FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) -- AAA emergency road side assistance call volume is up 21% Wednesday over its normal volume.

It attributes the rise in calls because of the cold snap this week.

Meteorologist Howard Bernstein's says Monday we reached a high of 49 degrees in the Metro and
...more by Wednesday we were in the teens and in some parts, the single digits.

The cold snap can really wreak havoc on our transit system and our cars.

Your car may have run perfectly the night before. Your battery may be fine. Your tire pressure is right. But overnight, and in the morning, it could be a whole different situation.

Aaron Dennis is a AAA mechanic and ironically both of his batteries in his diesel truck died.

"I had to start my own car. Both batteries were dead and they're only two years old. I've been working on everyone else's cars, that's my excuse, that's all I've got."

The cold snap not only catches the best off guard, but even our
